Mahindra XEV 9e: To compete with many great SUVs in the Indian auto market, Mahindra has launched its Electric SUV Mahindra XEV 9e, which is capable of providing 656 km range, level-2 ADAS and 7 airbag features.
The starting ex-showroom price of Mahindra XEV 9E is Rs 21.90 lakh. The company has informed that its delivery will start from March 2025. Mahindra has conducted India’s first live crash test at its state of the art safety lab in Tamil Nadu. So let’s know about the features and price of this SUV.
Excellent Design of Mahindra XEV 9e
Talking about the design, the new XEV 9e has headlights with projector headlamps, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, LED light bar at the front, new front and rear bumpers and rear skid plate and contrast coloured ORVMs. Apart from this, it has refreshed LED taillights, integrated spoiler, new alloy wheels with C-pillar-mounted rear door handle.
Mahindra XEV 9e’s Modern Engine
The fully loaded XEV 9e has a 79kWh battery pack, which generates 285bhp of power and 380 Nm of torque and has a single-speed gearbox to power the rear wheels and the company’s claimed range is 656 km. It can be charged from 20-80 percent in 20 minutes with a 175kWh DC fast charger.
Other Excellent Features of Mahindra XEV 9e
It has Mahindra’s ‘compact three-in-one powertrain’, which includes motor, inverter and transmission. With a 79 kWh battery, it generates 286 hp of power and 380 Nm of torque. The company claims that the XEV 9e catches the speed of 0-100kph in just 6.7 seconds.
Its 59 kWh unit generates 231 hp of power. It has a front and rear disc setup. The brake by wire system given in it helps in braking from 100kph to 40m.
Delivery and price of Mahindra XEV 9e
Booking of the top-spec variant of Mahindra XEV 9e will start from February 14, while test drives will start in stages from January 14. At the same time, its delivery will also start in March 2025. The price of Mahindra XEV 9e has been kept at Rs 21.90 lakh.
